And now some technical info! But what kind of tech info can I give you about this blog? Well, I tried to make it bilingual (notice the two flags at the bottom of the page and in the sidebar) even if there’s not really a native support for this. So it works quite fine but not completely. But I can manage. ‘Cause bilingual is cool.
Comments can be posted in a bilingual fashion, too: you just have to enclose the Italian part in the tag [lang_it] and the English part in the tag [lang_en].
Example:
[lang_it]Sono un commento![/lang_it]
[lang_en]I’m a comment![/lang_en]
If you’re lazy just write without using tags, so everyone will see what you have written despite their chosen language. Instead if you use just one tag (for example English), people who have chosen the other language (Italian) will only see a message telling them the comment is not available in that language (Italian).
I also added a funny calendar which shows “events”, a list of days when I presumably do something useful. You can look for them directly in the calendar (the commands to change month are right below it) or click on the “Eventi” category in the sidebar.
